Magic Thursday - Mermaids, Banshees, Succubi, oh my. The Results.

I received some excellent suggestions in the comments of last week's post and by email, so thank you to everyone who replied.

Here is list of responses.

  • Mermaids/Mermen
  • Banshees
  • Succubi
  • Selkies
  • Harpies
  • Baba Yaga
  • Faeries
  • Furies
  • Hellhounds
  • Dryads/Nereids
  • Japanese spirit creatures and ghouls
  • Fallen Angels

It seems people are weary of vampires, unless there is a new twist. Still vampire books are still selling.

So with the list I ready had, this will be a series of posts that will go on for some time. If you have some further suggestions, please list them in the comments below.

Next week, we begin with Harpies

Until then, here are some images to get your imagination going.

  1. That is one very cool list Eleni! I'm looking forward to it and love, love, love the images you've sourced. Always amazed at your tenacity to find them (I don't have the patience for it).

  2. Hi Nicky, surprisingly, it didn't take too long to source the images. Glad you are looking forward to the posts.

  3. Gorgeous pictures Eleni,
looking forward to learning all about Harpies!
