Magic Thursday Giveaway- Shona Husk: Good Things Come in Threes

A few weeks ago I was busy signing contracts. Three of them. In three different genres…and with three different publishers. On one hand this is very exciting and on the other it’s a little scary as I’m juggling multiple projects. Luckily for me the release dates are quite spread out, so it shouldn’t be too difficult.

Here’s what the next 12 months will bring. My first novel The Goblin King, a paranormal romance, will be out in October, followed by Kiss of the Goblin Prince in March 2012 (Sourcebooks). Between them a yet to be titled fantasy novel will be released by Carina Press. And I haven’t stopped writing novellas (they are so quick and fun to write) Tasting Thanatos, the second of the Lucinda’s Lover Vampires will be out this year (Ellora’s Cave) and on January 31 2012 Brightwater Blood about a Shaman and a Were-lion will be released (Samhain Publishing).

While there are going to be a lot of edits in my near future I’m celebrating by giving away one ebook from my back list and it’s super easy to win. Just comment and say which one of the ebooks listed below you’d like and why.

An Elemental Tail-paranormal romance
Four hundred years ago, Nik was tricked by his lover and left stranded as a powerless, but immortal, human. Now he craves only one thing: to reclaim the book that was once his tail and become a water Elemental again. Unfortunately, he can only locate the book when someone touches the pages. This time he won't be left high and dry.

Isla is left a beautiful leather-bound book in her great-aunt's will, perfect for using during her life drawing classes. However, she can't bring herself to mark the translucent pages until a compelling crimson-haired stranger strips for art.

Nik is torn. Years of enforced humanity have given him a conscience. Despite his best efforts at remaining a heartless water Elemental, he is failing. He is falling for Isla, who has no idea she holds the power of the oceans, and his heart, in her hands.

Boyfriend in a Bottle-erotic paranormal romance
Be careful what you wish for. It might come with an expiration date...

Josie’s well-meaning friends just don’t get it. It’s not that she’s overjoyed to be thirty-two and celibate since her boyfriend dumped her. She’d love to settle down, but she refuses to settle for just any man. After all, better single than a sucker. Nevertheless, she humors her friends and follows the instructions attached to the gift they’ve given her—a beautiful bottle from a new-age shop. Lick, and the perfect man will appear.

It works. The naked man she finds tied to her bed is everything she’s ever wished for. Except Mr. Perfect comes with a time limit.

Kede is tired of living life by the hourglass. Once, fulfilling the desires of the women who freed him was enough, but now it’s just another job. Josie is different, though. She sees him as a real man—a man she wants for all time.

Kede wants more than a moment. He wants a chance at life outside the bottle, and he wants a life with Josie. But he belongs to the goddess Inanna, and his time is running out…

How to Breathe Fire-fantasy romance
For as long as she can remember, Camea has longed to explore the world beyond the island kingdom of Adar. It is an impossible dream, especially if she follows tradition and marries the farmer her parents have selected for her. But then, Camea has never been one to follow expectations.

When the village witch announces she has been selected to be the Fire God’s next bride, Camea has no intention of sacrificing her life to appease the volcano. She plans to escape and follow the Stars to her dream.

Matai, once a prince of Adar, now pays a fiery penance for seducing one of the Fire God’s witches. He must take a new bride each year, then kill her—or condemn Adar to the lava. Unlike his past brides Camea doesn’t shed one tear for her fate, nor does she beg for her life.

In the face of death she sees the remnants of the man he used to be—and a way to save them both from the Fire God’s never-ending cycle of wrath. If Matai has the courage to trust his heart.

Kissing Phoenix-erotic paranormal romance
When Lilith fell into lust with musician Aidan she never expected it to last. And she was right. Her doctor has given her months to live, and telling Aidan is the hardest thing she's ever done.
Aidan has been keeping his own secret. He is Vampire...but he can't turn Lilith and save her. The solution he proposes is illegal and dangerous and breaks every rule set up to protect non-humans from humans. He doesn't care. He will do anything to save the woman he loves.
Discovering the kiss of a Vampire and reveling in the erotic thrill, Lilith realizes her feelings are deeper than lust. But is giving up her humanity worth it?
