Nurse Nadine Gilbert likes working the night shift to avoid her disturbing dreams, but her mysterious new patient looks hauntingly familiar. Meryn knows he doesn't deserve a second chance, but Nadine brings out his long-buried human side.

Check out the cover for Dark Secrets, Shona Husk's upcoming release from Carina Press, 18th Feb 2013.

Six years ago, Haidyn Mast left his home and his betrothed Anisa to follow his magical calling. But too weak to join the Arcane Guild and too ashamed to return home, he has made a life as a prostitute—to all outward appearances. In truth, he sells his mind but not his body, using magic to let his clients experience their most secret fantasies while his hands stay clean. Even the Lawman, the arbiter of justice in Reseda, is one of his clients, but Haidyn would rather not know the extent of that man’s depravity.
Though successful, Haidyn is shunned as a whore and his lack of formal training is causing his power to grow out of control. He’s ready to retire and leave the city, but when he sees his Anisa standing at Lawman’s side, he knows he must rescue her from the abusive enforcer. Risking his life and his sanity, he devises a plan, knowing that failure will mean death for him, and a lifetime of torment for her….

REVIEWS

Harbinger by Peta Crake has been reviewed & given 4 stars by Book Junkie Joint.
"All in all, this story was a great read. I highly recommend it for fans of stories involving Olympians and those that enjoy reading about surprising turns in adventure stories spanning dimensions; and of course, also to those that enjoy love stories involving stubborn heroines."

And Chic Lit Worth Reading also reviewed Harbinger!
"You should read this book for the main character.  Ophelia Lind is not quite Lisbeth Salandar, but she’s damn close.  Like Lisbeth, Ophelia takes abuse heaped upon her from all sides, but manages to come out swinging.  It takes a particularly strong character to take the best punches from gods and goddesses.  And survive to tell the tale...I can’t wait to see where Crake takes us in the next installment of Ophelia’s story.  This is chick lit worth reading."

Shona Husk has received a 4.5star early review from Vampire, Werewolves & Fairies, Oh My! for For The Love Of The Goblin Warrior.
"Shona Husk does a wonderful job all around in this book and I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. I truly believed the feelings and emotions of the characters through her words and simply couldn’t put it down. If you are looking for something just a little different to read, you don’t want to pass on these goblins that will not only steal your gold, but steal your heart."
